Maika, WDYT?+ pronounciation of Jack
There's a girl in one of my classes from France named Maika, pronounced like Mike+ a. I really like the sound of it, but not the spelling. WDYT? Any spelling suggestions? And another question. I really love the name Jack pronounced in English. The problem is that I'm from Sweden and if I would use Jack it would be pronounced Ya-ck (Ya as in Yaya). I hate it! Do you think it would be weird to use the English pronounciation? I realise that the child would probably have to correct everybody all the time. What would you do?
