Anyone know where this one comes from? Seems to be a Spanish feminine name, once belonging to a queen of Asturias and Leon.
This website
http://www.arrakis.es/~glw/fj.htm
says that it's a feminine Simon, but the form looks unfamiliar. Maybe Basque?
