They wree infamous for their laughable quality and also in our area for one having plunged off the Mackinac Bridge. :-P
I almost bought one in high school off eBay for five hundred bucks. Would've been the best five hundred bucks I'd ever spent if my mom wouldn't've stopped me. *grumble*
