It's it a great name, certainly, but I'm thinking breakout hit in about two years. Makes a wonderful sister for all those new
Iris and Violets out there. Too nice a sister.
Also...this may just be me, but I usually 'play' with names, and
Daphne is too close to "Dafty" for me to ever call my own daughter (I can't use
Cecily either- I'd call her Silly for sure. Calling you children Dafty and Silly would be one for the therapist's couch.
Come to think of it, though,
Daphne Cecilia's not a bad combo...)
