I love it. Its on my list actually. I just recently started to love Hawaiian names. I dont think you have to live in Hawaii or be Hawaiian to use it. That would be saying you need to be a French or live in
France to use a French name. All I really need is it to fit with the surname.
Leilani doesnt work too well because my (to-be) surname ends with the same sound, and I dont like it. However, if it flows with your surname, I say go for it. NN
Lani is cute (and more "Americanized" if people have problems with it).
