I love
Ambrose and like
Ambrosine very much, but I'm not as keen on
Ambrosia. I think it's a wee bit too much of a noun for me.
I could see
Rosie coming out of
Ambrosia but I'd be less keen on
Rose. For whatever reason,
Rose is too much of a seperate, whole name for me to like as a nickname but
Rosie is, well, nicknamey. As another example, it's like the name Jeremy--I can see
Jerry as a nn, but not
Remy, even though those letters appear in
Jeremy.
