[Opinions] WDYTO Ambrosia?

I love it. I love Ambrose, and Ambrosine's great as well. Rose could work as a nn; some others include Amy, Asia, Amber /Ambra, Brosia, etc.
I like Ambrosia Hope. It's got a pleasant sound. Ambrosia Jean works too.
Other ideas:
Ambrosia Eleanor
Ambrosia Elisabeth
Ambrosia Joy
Ambrosia Katherine /Catherine /Katharine
Ambrosia Irene /Irena /Irina
Ambrosia Helen /Helena
Ambrosia Sabina / Sabine

I think it's pretty cheesey. On a pet maybe, but "food of the gods" seems like a really bizarre name for a human. I don't get the appeal at all.
I love it. I discovered it a few days ago and really like it.
"There is an art to flying, or rather, a knack," said Ford. "The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss."
I met a 13 year old named Ambrosia about a month back, it's been on my fave's list since! She didn't have a nickname, but I think Rose could work. Some others that could work: Amy, Amby, Sia, Asia, and Brosia.
Ambrosia Jean is nice, better than Ambrosia Hope. Ambrosia Hope is getting too sickly sweet to my ears. My favorite combination with Anbrosia right now is Sabrina Ambrosia. I also like Ambrosia Cathleen, Ambrosia Elaine, Ambrosia Irene, and Ambrosia Louise, Ambrosia Allegra (though this one is brodering on sickly sweet) and Natasha Ambrosia.
Hope I could help!

Funny you should mention this name
I just read a book with the Charachter's TR, Queenie, Tango & Saskia and their horse was called Ambrosia
Its sorta growing on me. Rose or Rosie would be a cute nn.
Ambrosia Jean is nice.

But as previous posts are about Tango, mostly, I assume it took more of your fancy. :-D Though you did remind me that I like Saskia.

I like Ambrosia Jean. It's not a name I'd pick, but I'd smile to see it on someone else's child. The "food of the gods" part is a bit of a turn off, though. I like the NN Rosie with it. I prefer Jean to Hope for the sound and because Ambrosia is technically a word name, it seems overkill to me to follow up with a second word name. Also, I just don't like Hope!

I almost like it.
I love Ambrose and like Ambrosine very much, but I'm not as keen on Ambrosia. I think it's a wee bit too much of a noun for me.
I could see Rosie coming out of Ambrosia but I'd be less keen on Rose. For whatever reason, Rose is too much of a seperate, whole name for me to like as a nickname but Rosie is, well, nicknamey. As another example, it's like the name Jeremy--I can see Jerry as a nn, but not Remy, even though those letters appear in Jeremy.
