[Opinions] Re: Demetrius
It's a guilty pleasure to me. I love the sound, and 'Mother Earth' is one of my favorite meanings, but it may sound a bit too pretentious, at least in English. Demetria is more usable because there's Demi.Demetrios in Greek and Dimitri in Russian work fine, but only in their respective cultures. If I were to use the masculine form, I'd pick Demeter – it's a guy's name in Slovak and Hungarian, and does not have the frill of Demetrius. My virtual BtN babies:Leonie Sylvia
