I thought Muriel was pronounced MUR-ee-əl rather than MYUWR-ee-əl.
I also can't wrap my head around the pronunciation of Cyril. If Cyrus is pronounced SIE-rəs, then why isn't Cyril pronounced SIE-rəl instead of SIR-əl?
