[Opinions] Name Yourself in Each Decade
If you could make a first name + middle name combo for yourself using names from each decade’s top 100, what would you choose? I would just do the top 100 of 1995, 1985, etc. to find names that peaked in each decade, though you can do it how you’d like!

I used the US decade average list (it's on BtN) and made an effort to pick different ones - I think I could have said Anna Elizabeth for all of them; I lowkey like that combo.20s: Zoe Valentina Claire

These all seem so bright and cheerful.

I had to delete some things in order to avoid the spam filter, but I mentioned that my country only has information from 1920s onwards, which is why I started in 1925.

That's funny because mid-century is where I struggle the most to find names I like.
Yeah, I was expecting that to be the case for me, too, but it's surprising how many late 1800s/early 1900s gems (those are my favorite decades) stuck around until the 1950s.

I found 1990-1960 the hardest! I avoided using my first and middle name, even though there were lots of opportunities to :).
I avoided my first name too!
I used mine but as a MN in my parents' generation. It seemed like a different perspective still, like picking Amanda for the 1880s felt different than it would have for the 1980s. :)

Since there are no stats for my country, I've had fun with three! England and Wales, Ireland, and the USA. And I tried very hard not to have repeats, though Maria and Mary are sailing very close to the wind.I've also stuck to the actual spellings. IRL, I'd have used Clare, Anne, Alison and Michele. I included Sarah because it's a family name and it fitted; not because I like it! I don't.England/Wales 2015
