Devon okay for a gal. Not enough to put it on a shortlist. But I've met one, and thought it sounded a lot better IRL than it seemed in theory.
I don't care for
Devin (m), nor
Devon (m).
Kevin is too dated as a baby name rn, yeah. I have a good friend named
Kevin who's 57 (it rhymes). It was like the
Aiden of the 60s, apparently.
I've never been a fan of the name but it's not unpleasant.
Devin is a bit more grating, to me. Also
Gavin. These names give me a vague sensation like they're aggressive action words, "devving, kevving, and gavving."
Devon doesn't, though, it's place-y and feminine to me.
