Help[Opinions] Elizabeth & Charles
Well, the day finally came. Queen Elizabeth II is gone. She has been the monarch of England for my entire life, and is one of the longest-reigning in history. Pretty soon we'll likely see Charles' coronation, then he'll be King Charles III (unless shenanigans ensue).
I've never been a fan of the way Charles sounds in English, but I think it sounds nice in French oddly enough. Meanwhile, Elizabeth is lovely, imo. Despite its ubiquity it isn't stale, likely because there are so many valid nicknames to choose from. (Liz is admittedly played out.)
