I adore the name Elizabeth, Bess being my favourite nickname. It’s regal but friendly, good for all ages, and a feminine but solid name that everyone knows. It’s one of those classic names I would use despite popularity, like David. And now that it had the added namesake of HRH Elizabeth, it makes me ten times more eager to use it.

I’m not a big fan of the name Charles. I like the nickname Charlie though. It’s quite stuffy. It has a good association to Little House on the Prairie for me, but that’s about it.
