Help[Opinions] Emily: the ultimate compromise name
I was in a class today and the instructor said that she had a daughter named Emily, but she really wanted to name her Nyla (I think that’s what she said) but her husband did not agree. She didn’t like any of his names so Emily was a compromise. Someone else said that how his sister Emily got her name. A third person chimed in with their daughter is named Amelia because they couldn’t agree. The instructor then said something like “if all else fails, just pick a name that sounds like Emily.”
Just an interesting story I wanted to share. Any thoughts? Is Emily a name you would love to use, or would you just shrug your shoulders and go “meh, whatever”?
