Perceived gender of names that originate as surnames is typically more flexible, so imo Jonah isn't like Teagan, Tatum, Madison in that way.
But, as far as I know, the word "dove" (Yonah) is actually feminine in Hebrew?
So assuming that's right, it might've made more sense as a girls' name than a boys' name all along.
And while I do automatically read Tiffany as feminine,I feel like historically it could easily have been a unisex nickname: it's short for Theophania which has masculine counterparts, and it's a surname. Plus, it's sound and recent usage reminds me of Whitney.
