[Opinions] Re: Stephanie
in reply to a message by A
This is an interesting one. It's a little bit dated (a la Tiffany) but still elegant. However... all but one of the Stephanies I've ever known have... well, to put it mildly, they've had a screw loose. Especially the one who was my friend in primary school. (My confidence issues must've been obvious to everyone once I remained friends with Stephanie after she tried to push me down the stairs in first grade.) And for the one Stephanie who turned out to be okay, Stephanie turned out to be her middle name, but the one she preferred to go by.
So I don't have the best associations with the name Stephanie - to the point where nowadays when I meet a Stephanie I find myself quietly waiting for the other shoe to drop. Sorry.
