I really liked the short medieval name game I posted from last time, so I thought I would make more of a game out of it, with dice.
Use your preferred online dice site (I personally like
https://rolz.org)
Roll a four-sided die for the status of the family. If you roll a 2, they are of nobility (meaning the is of noble class). Any other number means they are peasants. Feel free to elaborate on their background.
Roll the four-sided die for the respective namebanks. Feel free to do multiple middle names. Roll separately for each name.
DH:
DW:
Roll a twenty-sided die for number of children. Then roll for genders (odd = boy, even = girl). Then roll an eight-sided die to see if they survive to adulthood. If it lands on a 1, 3, or 7, then they sadly do not survive to adulthood.
Multiple plague outbreaks hit the country. To see if each member survives, roll a four-sided die. If it lands on a 3, then they die from the plague.

[Feel free to give the children spouses and repeat the process for each family.]
Be kinder to yourself. And then let your kindness flood the world.
