Iris and Eetu got married two years ago, after dating for a few years. They live in Iris' home city of Brussels, where Eetu works in a chemical lab, and Iris teaches primary school children.
Year 1 - Montreal, Canada
Although life in Brussels has been fantastic, Iris and Eetu both felt they needed a change. In the end, they found an apartment in Montreal for a fairly reasonable price, and after a few weeks, they found work in similar fields to before.

Eetu and Iris had wanted a pet for a long time, but their flat in Brussels didn't allow it. In Montreal, they decided to get a mouse, who they called Lilou.

The move as well as the triplets growing up has caused some tension between Iris and Eetu. They have a series of explosive arguments but eventually resolve their issues.

Hugo is ill for several weeks with a nasty fever. Eventually it passes, but Margot, Valentin and Florent realise that they care for their little brother a lot more than they thought.

The decision to move their young family to a foreign country they’d never been to before, speaking a language none of them knew, was difficult. However, they all love Barcelona, and adjust to their new life there quickly. Naturally, Marko and Sulo come too.
Year 17 - Barcelona, Spain
Adding to their menagerie, Iris and Eetu get a pet lizard for Jules, who names it Lars.
Year 18 - Barcelona, Spain
After 23 years together, Eetu and Iris get a divorce. They decided that things were just too difficult between them, and it would be better for everyone if they separated. All the kids take it quite hard, especially Hugo, who’s only 6, and they begin to get closer. Iris and Eetu agree to shared custody of them all.
Year 19 - Barcelona, Spain
Eetu receives a promotion to Head of the Chemistry Department at the school he teaches at.

Iris received a promotion at the primary school. In addition, the triplets all finished school. Valentin is staying at home for a while more, making a living selling his art. Florent is studying computer science in Paris, while Margot is studying political science in Perth.
