Help[Opinions] Fanny and Dick (more)
Do you like Fanny? Is it usable in an English speaking country? I always found it kind of charming. But English is not my first language.
I was just wondering if you think this name would be usable as
a) a full name
b) a nickname so she could switch to something else if there was any teasing e.g. Stephanie, Francesca, Frances etc.
or is it not usable at all? How is the name perceived where you live? Do you like it? What is your favorite full form?
I would also like to know, do you think the nickname Dick will have the same fate as Fanny? Do you think it is usable because there are still quite a few around? Have the ones you know encountered teasing?
