[Opinions] strangely ...
I read a sad news article yesterday where a young woman was found dying in her home, and she was able to ask the paramedics/police "Where's Winston?" before she died. Winston turned out to be her baby son who was found safe with his father, who is charged with killing the mother.Terrible story, but I mention it because if somebody just asked me "Where's Winston?" and I didn't know who Winston was, I would be likely to think he was a dog or cat.It just seems that comical and pompous. (The cat from Pet Sematary was named Winston Churchill.)You're entitled to your own opinions. You're not entitled to your own facts. -- Daniel Patrick Moynihan

Thats where I saw the name, interestingly enough! And it caught my attention because I don't hear many babies named Winston.

it's my impression ...From various trivia things I've read, that it was once a very popular name in Jamaica, and a lot of reggae musicians and DJ's non-stage names were Winston or Neville.
