I adore it! I've also been flirting with Dorotea recently.
Well, I have about a million Dorotheas in my family line, so it isn't wildly appealing to me, but I see how others would like it. It is more sophisticated than spunky Dorothy, which I like.
Dorothea is gorgeous! It's a bit clunky but I don't dislike that about it. I do think Thea takes away from the whole gorgeous name a bit, to be honest.
Ultimately I prefer the simpler Dorothy; I think it's because of the y at the end, plus it doesn't need a nickname.
