I think it's got the kind of cheap, brassy, dated-sexpot vibe as Lola, though not quite as over-the-top. Chain-smoker, bad dye job, clothes too tight for her size and age, heavy makeup, over-long fingernails. Like she was a real hot little number back in the forties but is way past it now and doesn't know it.

I see a well dressed middle aged woman, with a curled bob. Brunette of course, a couple of well-fed kids and an administrative job that gives her plenty of free time to take the kids to catechism class and make sure they visit Nona every Sunday for pasta dinner.
