I think Dorothy and Theodore sound way too much alike. They're the same roots, just swapped. It's very twin-y, and I'm not really a fan of matchy twin names.Cordelia Edith Jane
Ephraim Hamish Clark

There is three possibilities for me at the moment...Old fashioned:
Theodore & DaphneBit Hipster:
Barnaby & Anouk
Very unpopular:
Casper & HildaThese are three that I would definitely use.Theodore Caspian Stewart & Daphne Beatrice Hilda
Barnaby Ignatius Stewart & Anouk Seraphine Hilda
Casper Simeon Stewart & Hilda Daphne Winifred

I like the vintage sound of Dorothy & Theodore. Almost sound a bit too similar out loud though.
Right now, b/g twins would be either Lyra Beatrix Valentine & Caspian Sherlock Walter (Lyra & Caspian) or Pandora Valencia Fae & Caspian Sherlock Walter (Pandora & Caspian). And I like: Georgiana (George-ee-ah-nə) & Frederick
Hermione & Lysander
Lyra & Hugo
Edmund & Sylvia
Clara & Albie
Emrys & Maeve
Alasdair & Rosalind
Nikolai & Phaedra

Dorothy and Theodore - that's good, and a really nice pairing. Most people wouldn't ever know they were kind of the same name! These are my twin twofers:Natasha and Levi (because Natasha is "ah, satan" backwards, and Levi rearranged is "evil")
Olive and Orrin (Olive is a shade of green, and Orrin means "little green one")
Philomena and Ferdinand (family names)
Evelyn and Isaac (somehow these two names have become linked in my mind, and make me think of vampires. It's weird but enjoyable)

I love Natasha

I tend to just use my favorite names together when I think of naming twins. So, my choice today would be Gerard Vance and Nadine Carole.
I actually do like Theodore and Dorothy together, mostly because of the nickname options. Yeah, the full names together do scream "matchy", but there are so many other names that the kid could use to cement his/her identity. Theodore - Ted, Theo, Teddy, Tad, Tosh, etc.
Dorothy - Dot, Dottie, Doll, Dory, Dora, Tea, Thea, etc.
I personally think a Theo and Dot would be an adorable sibset/twinset.

Tomas (with an accent on the a) and Tamsin is gorgeous! I love that Thomas means twin and that they're both variants. I'd call them both Tammy for short, because all the 'Tom's I know are Scottish and are called 'Tam'. :)

Sorry that was me. Was on a different computer and posted, forgetting to log in as I'm constantly logged in on my home computer.
Oh, and middle names would be Ophelia and Kai.

Totally forgot about the twin meaning. I used to think that if I had twin girls I would name them Linnea and Vanamo because they both mean "twinflower". Linni and Vana were pluses as nicknames.

Aw, so cute! (The 'Tam' post was me by the way, I was just on a different computer, wrote the post, and forgot to log in so just put a few dashes!) Linnea is absolutely gorgeous, especially... Much nicer than Lyndelle or Lindsay.

I'm really not a fan of matchy names for siblings. Especially twins, I think it's important to help them create a sense of independent identity.I would just go for my current fave male and female combos.Felix Evander & Livia Hermione

I do like Dorothy and Theodore but I think maybe it should be separate names, don't seem to go together. Right now I'd change them
Eliana and Felix

Really? Together? I like both Dorothy and Theodore, but together seems a little over the top. I don't really "do" deliberate couplets for twins. But I think my two favourites go together all right: Mattea and Rafferty.

Both Dorothy and Theodore are okay names; Theodore I like only because you can get the nn Ted out of it.
They are a bit too matchy-matchy in a very name-nerdy kind of way for twins. Like really wanting to have cutesy matching twin names but thinking you're doing it in a very clever and subtle way that none of the unwashed masses will pick up on. lolJames and Ashley
Robert and Christina
Jonathan and Jessica
Anthony and Amanda
Timothy and Savannah
David and Stephanie
