[Opinions] Re: Axl/Axle/Axel
I love Guns 'N' Roses and even if Axl Rose was uber cool back in the 80's, he was also a jerk (still is, I guess). What I'm trying to say is that I'm not sure Axl Rose is a good association. On the other hand, if I met a little boy named Axl/Axel (agree Axel is the better spelling) and found out he was named after Axl Rose I would pretty much think his parents were awesome.
I think Axel/Axl is kind of like Hendrix and Lennon, definitely associated with musicians.
I also consider the name Axel to be a classic Scandinavian name. It's kind of upper class, actually.
