I'm intrigued by the name Marlies, but I'm not sure how to pronounce it. It's German/Dutch, according to this site. Would it be pronounced mar-LEASE, mar-LEEZ, or MAR-lease, MAR-leez?
Any thoughts?
And do you prefer Marliese? I assume that one is pronounced mar-LEASE-uh.
