Fay. I think it works okay on a guy because it can also seem surnamey and has a chunky, heavy sound. But it seems vaguely vain and dark on a man.
Wow, I looked at the popularity and it was pretty popular recently. I did not know that. But it hasn't been too popular - 1 in 200 per year is not that bad. If I were naming a baby today I'd be a little worried that it was kind of a fading fad, though.
