I dislike Gretchen as well. I like Morgan because it sounds a bit like the German word for morning which makes it sound fresh and happy to me.

Positive influences always make a name better. I didn't know the German word for morning was so similar and that does make it a little more accessible but I still can't get over the 'morg' sound.
