I think they're both great. And I think your reasoning behind
Ivy is really lovely, even if it's not my first thought.
Ivy (the plant) has a good associations for me but I know some people hate it. Anyway
Ivy as a name is lively and smart, a bit subdued and a bit sharp. I like it. It's maybe more distinctive than
Rose, but
Rose is beautiful too.
Rose is lush and sweet but still has an edge. It's so simple. I honestly can't choose between them, I think either would be awesome.
I also like all your middle names!
Ivy Isabelle is cool and the double 'i' works because it's a different sound.
Ivy Cecilia is great, I love
Cecilia and
Ivy grounds it really well.
Ivy Madeleine is beautiful too.
So yeah, you don't need suggestions because you have great options already, but I'm gonna give you some for the fun of it.
Ivy Clare was my first thought for middle names but it doesn't really fit what you want. Sorry for any repeats, in a bit of a hurry. How about:
Ivy Magdalen (very slight variation, I know)
