Iris had worked as a high school maths teacher for about a year when she found out she was pregnant. Of course she was thrilled to become a mother, but it was not in the best of times: she really loved her job and had wished that she could have worked for a couple of more years before having children. Sam was very happy though, he is super excited to become a father.
Vera is still very torn up after her break up with her ex, Cloees father, but she has started working part time, as a librarian. After talking to Sam and Iris, they decided that she could stay for longer at their flat if she wanted to - after all they really loved Cloee and Cloee liked them too. Vera also appreciated that her daughter had a positive male role model in her life and with a baby on their way, it actually seemed like a good idea to have a mother around the house to teach Iris and Sam how to change diapers and what not. And if both Vera and Sam is working part time, Iris can go back to teaching quite soon after the baby is born!
Soon the baby came: a healthy, smiling, little boy. Iris and Sam decided to name him Bradan Rain. He is adorable and Cloee treats him like he is her brother.
