For this round every family has at least one child and some have different naming rules. One thing I forgot to mention in the sign-ups is ages, if you want to keep track of ages, feel free to do so. Since I'm not the one keeping track, time will probably end up passing differently for some families than for others. You are welcome to add stories about your family at any point in the game (if you wrote one for the sign-ups, you don't have to write another until you want to, if you didn't write one for the sign-ups you can begin writing them whenever you want or don't have to at all). All biological children start out as newborns.

Story (optional): Jed and Paige met in college when they were 17 and 16 respectively, Jed was the new boy to the small town and all the girls were drooling over him because of his sweet American accent. In fact Paige didn't really notice him until he turned up on her doorstep one day asking if she wanted to buy a puppy because his dog had just given birth. She began to see more of him around college and realised that he was in a couple of her classes. 25-year-olds Ian and Violet Adams have been married for a year and a half, and are living in a three-bedroom house with Violet's 20-year-old sister, Rose, as they live just minutes away from the college she attends. Ian is a Pharmaseutical sales representative, and Violet is a 4th grade teacher. Violet and Rose's parents, David Robert "Dave" and Sarah Marie, divorced when Violet was 7 and Rose was 2, and they have two stepbrothers, Jackson Henry, 16 and Tristan Benjamin, 14 from when their mom remarried to their stepdad, Timothy Sean "Tim", and two half sisters, Lillian Kate "Lily", 10 and Holly Anna, 7, from when their dad remarried to their stepmom, Theresa Jane "Terry". Violet and Rose were lucky in that their parents stated in the same town, so they could trade off weeks at each parents house. They'd stay at mom's one week, dad's the next. They divided holidays the best they could. They'd end up going to two Thanksgiving dinners, two Christmas celebrations, one parent would get Halloween, the other, New Years Eve. Two Easter celebrations. One parent would get their end of semester break, the other spring break, they alternated Memorial Day and Labor Day. It was quite complicated, but the girls were used to it, after all, it'd been going on for as long as Rose could remember, and since Violet was very young. Their step parents were always nice to them, so they almost liked the situation. Rose didn't know any different anyway. But since she was little, Violet always wished that her parents had stayed together. So she is determined not to turn out like her parents did.

Story:
Sam and Iris are a young couple who just got married. Sam is of American and Russian heritage - his mother came to USA just a year before he was born. Unfortunately Sam's father died very early on, and his mother, who barely spoke English, had to work very hard for their money. Sam is walking in his father's footsteps and is aiming to become a policeman, but so far he has not passed the theoretical tests.
Iris met Sam when they were both young: Iris' older sister was babysitting Sam quite a lot when he was young, and every now and then she would bring Iris along so they could play together. Iris and Sam kept in contact and eventually started dating. Now Iris has just finished studying and is ready to work as a high school maths teacher.
Vera and daughter Cloee lives with them too: Vera is an old acquaintance of Sam's (they used to live in the same building before Sam moved out). One day, he saw her crying on a bus stop, and even though they weren't very close (not more than neighbours) he asked her what had happened and she told him that she had just broken up with her abusive boyfriend. Sam though that sounded like a good thing, but then Vera told him that she had no place to go to and didn't want to leave her daughter with her ex and now she just didn't know what to do ...
Even though Sam and Iris only have a really small flat, they decided to take Vera and Cloee in, at least until they get back on their feet.

Jordan joined the army, and went to boot camp. Palmer wrote him letters and when he got out of boot, he went to Palmer's house and proposed. The two eloped and soon moved to Virginia where Jordan was stationed. Both Jordan and Palmer want to have a large family, and they want to begin sooner rather than later.
