Zosia is intriguing. Is it related to Zosima / Zosimus? Is the stress on the first syllable (I hope so)?

Oooo I've never heard of Zosima but I'm totally in love now. Is it the first of second syllable that's emphasized?

"ZO-see-muh," is how I've heard it. :-)
I have to confess that I heard it as a male character in "The Brothers Karamazov." Father Zosima.
But if Zosimus is a Latin male name, I don't see how Zosima wouldn't have been the feminine form, even if it did later become a male name in Russia. The database does have a feminine form, Greek Zosime.
