What are you couple's kids thinking about these two new additions? The friend was a Shakespeare freak, so the kids FNs are from Shakespeare. His wife (who has also passed--what happened with her?) was Chinese, so the kids MNs are Chinese. Their LN is long and English.

As Isla approached her first birthday, Noah & Elena decided that they wanted one more child. They had noticed the way James & Alex would go off together and play but because of the age gap between Alex & Isla, Isla was kind of left out of their fun and they really wanted to give their baby girl a sibling closer to her own age. They also secretly hoping to give James a baby brother too!
It didn't take long for Elena to get pregnant this time round and before they knew it little Mason had arrived. James was over the moon at FINALLY having a little brother and can't wait until he's big enough that James can show him all kinds of 'boys only' cool stuff. Alex had taken awhile to warm up to Isla when she was born, but this baby stuff was old news by the time Mason arrived and she didn't seem to have any problem adjusting.
After Mason, Noah & Elena had decided no more kids, 2 boys and 2 girls, their family was complete. So Elena was shocked to discover that she was pregnant again when Mason was only 2 months old! Once the shock of the unplanned pregnancy wore off however they got quite excited, they would have irish twins! Willa arrived happy and healthy and is a very sweet baby, the perfect final addition to their brood.

Noah can't believe it... They just got the phone call and he's pretty much in shock. His college roommate, Tom Chancellor, a guy who James, Alex, Isla, Mason & Willa call 'Uncle Tommy', a guy who was the best man and Noah & Elena's wedding, and then Noah his, was gone.

A lot has happened with the Fischer family in the past decade. Nine years ago, Emily and JD finally tied the knot! They were overjoyed to have their youngsters be a part of the wedding. Seven years ago Emily and JD were surprised to find out they were pregnant again, especially since their youngest was now six year old. Even so, they welcomed another baby boy, Keaton Noah Fischer. The couple had barely adjusted when Emily found she was pregnant again. Keaton was five months old when she got the news. If the pregnancy would have gone smoothly, then the babies would have been sixteen months apart. The newest addition, another boy, was three months premature. Aside from some minor complications, he was healthy. Emily and JD thanked God and gave their son a biblical name, Asher Solomon Fischer.
Just three years ago, Emily's best friend from college, Micah James Blackwell, and his wife, Shuyun Xi Blackwell, were in a plane crash. Their two children, Octavia (13) and Toby (7) were placed in the care of Emily and JD. They two took in the children without hesitation. Tavi took the adjustment hard, so Emily and JD put her in counseling. Now, three years later, she's doing tremendously better. Toby adjusted quickly. The boys loved having another brother around to play with.
It has recently come to light that Paul and his seventeen-year-old girlfriend, Amanda Rachelle Howard, are expecting. The two have been together since Paul was sixteen. Upon finding out about her pregnancy, Amanda's mother kicked her out. Emily and JD opened their arms to the girl and welcomed her into their already lively and busy home. Paul and Amanda, a beautiful couple, have decided to keep their little boy and are planning on honoring their fathers. Amanda's own father, Gregory Kane Howard, passed away just a few months ago. After much debate, they settled on David Kane Fischer. Emily and JD support the decision to keep the baby, but fear the responsibility will fall on their shoulders.

AJ and Sami waited a little while before trying for a daughter, but once again they welcomed a son. And soon after Kane was born, they found out they were expecting again! It came as a surprise but they were still very happy about it. Since Luke and Carrigan were born only a year apart too, it wasn't too much of a stress to deal with having two little ones at the same time again. And since their first three boys were older when Kane and Reed were born, they were more independent and able to help out around the house a lot which made it easier.
A few years after their boys were born, one of AJ's best friends since high school, Todd Andrew Dourif, and his wife Kendra Ai-Jing Chu, who he had also been with since high school, were killed in a car accident with a drunk driver. They had two children, Lysander and Portia (Todd was an English Lit teacher and loved Shakespeare), and Sami and AJ gladly took them in. The kids were understandably very distressed and had a hard time settling in, but they knew the family quite well and Harley and Lysander were even in the same grade at school, so that made the transition a little easier. Sami and AJ's boys found it strange accommodating the grieving kids' needs, but they were really helpful with everything; the older boys are always watching out for their new adopted siblings and the younger ones have become very attached to them. It has been two years and while it was a very sad and hard change, Lysander and Portia are doing great and fit in really well with the family.
And to top off all these big changes, currently Luke and his girlfriend Jasmine just found out Jas is pregnant.

They have decided to call it quits. The kids don't really know what to think, but are doing allright with it. Both Jacob-Mason and Jessica want to work things out, but don't think they can. But have decided to remain friends. Jacob-Mason has moved in with his new girl and they are expecting a child together.

Three years after Nana Penny moved in with the family, Laura found out she was pregnant once more. Amazingly, two months after Mason was born, Laura was pregnant again! The first girl of the family, Lydia Yvette, joined the family. While things are crazy in the Rosenberger household, having Penny around to help is fantastic.

Danny & Alaina was very surprised to find out that they were expecting so soon after they had Koen, but nonetheless thrilled! However, in the beginning it was overwhelming but worth it! Tommy, Maisie, Caleb, & Sophie love the Koen & Delilah! The boys love that they have a little brother & the girls love having a little sister! In the midst of all the joy & excitement, Danny's best friend & his wife get into a fatal car accident. Alaina & Danny are to be the guardian of Henry Worthington & Meiling "May" {Lee} Worthington's two children, Valeria Wei Worthington & Lucius Huang Worthington. The kids love having new playmates/siblings & it didn't take long for Valeria & Lucius to blend in. Of course they miss their parents, but Danny & Alaina are trying make life as it was at home with May & Henry. Lucius kind of understand what happened & he had a hard time dealing with it at first, but he's doing okay now. Valeria is too young to understand what is happening.

Alaina & Danny are to be the guardian of Henry Worthington & Meiling "May" {Lee} Worthington's two children, Valeria Wei Worthington & Lucius Huang Worthington. The kids love having new playmates/siblings & it didn't take long for Valeria & Lucius to blend in. Of course they miss their parents, but Danny & Alaina are trying make life as it was at home with May & Henry. Lucius kind of understand what happened & he had a hard time dealing with it at first, but he's doing okay now. Valeria is too young to understand what is happening.

But two new additions aren't the only thing that's happened these past years. About a year ago, Cori came home to find Jake in bed with another girl. One much younger than either of them. She immediately threw both of them out. And as soon as possible she divorced Jake. She'd been suspecting that Jake had been cheating on her ever since Maggie arrived, because he said (and I quote), "Cori, honey, I don't think we need any more babies. I know I don't. At least not with you." He laughed that last part off, hoping she'd take it as a joke. But she didn't. Not a smart move on his part at all. He ended up on the couch that night.
As soon as Cori threw Jake out, Jake moved in with his girlfriend, Kate McTimmons. And a month from that very night, they discovered they were expecting. An even better reason for Cori to get rid of Jake. Jake and Kate now have a one-year-old baby boy--Timothy Thomas McTimmons, or TinTin as they call him.
