Instinctively I wouldn't pronounce Tea and Taya the same. Taya is TY-a to me and Tea, I don't know, I don't like the fact that it's the same as the word but pronounced differently. Will kids tease her and call her Tee instead?
Téa is much better but I guess there could be problems with the accent. There's a risk that people would use an apostrophe instead of an accent and I find that absolutely intolerable. Te'a? No, no, NO!
My favorite is Teia. I think it's pretty and would go very well with Javan. Teia and Javan. I like it. Simple but unsual.
