Almost every Alexander I know goes by Alex. So hears the list:
Alex, age 17
Alex, age 18
Alex, age 2
Alix, age 65
Alex, age 12
Xander, age 4
Alex, age 1 month
On a sidenote, I also have a friend named Robert Alexander who is 35 and know a little Emmett Alexander who is 2 months old.
I find the name quite boring, although it does sound nice in the middle name spot.
