I have an aunty who is Penelope nn Penny, well actually she is never called Penelope. Also about two weeks ago a cousin of my best friend gave birth to a baby girl and named her Penny, just Penny.
I like the name but definitely prefer it as a nickname not a full name.
I think of Penny from the tv show The Big Bang Theory when I hear the name.
