People call me Rach all the time, and someone asked me if I was bothered by it, once. I didn't know what to say, because it was such a trivial matter that I hadn't given it any thought.
We all feel differently, though. Some people don't like nicknames, and they have the right to be called whatever they wish.

I feel like what they have the right to is to dislike when people call them nicknames. Not the right not to be called them.
