Two years have passed since Dominic's birth and Alexandra has become extremely busy with her children. Nerissa continues to excel at academics and even shows talent at horse back riding, which is something she likes to do with Demetrius when he's home. Antonius is still very attached to Alexandra and doesn't like her spending too much time with anyone else. However, when he was able to be pried away from his mother, Antonius is very athletic and enjoys learning how to play various sports with his father and uncles. Of course, he is still too young to play competitively. Dominic practically idolizes his older brother, following him around almost everywhere.
Demetrius has been home a lot the past couple of years, due to the Great Matter. He's been dealing with a lot of cases of prejudice against half-breeds, and while he publicly remains impartial he secretly hopes his sister grants everyone full rights. Due to Demetrius remaining in Kriana, it was no surprise when Alexandra announced she was pregnant again. While her past pregnancies have been very physically straining on her, this one seemed to be much easier on her. Alexandra's loss of energy and temper flares were virtually non existent and you could barely even tell she was pregnant, except for her stomach growing much larger than with the last three children.
When it was finally time for the baby to come, Alexanda and Demetrius secretly hoped for another little girl. The labor was relatively quick and definitely not nearly as painful as the last three. They were overjoyed to deliver a healthy baby girl and it wasn't until Alexandra felt another sharp pain that the Healer announced she'd be having twins! She and Demetrius barely had time to react to the news before they were joined by a baby boy. They were shocked and ecstatic, they had never expected to have twins. They both decided on Aurelia Honor Octavia and Leon Maximillian Octavius. The twins look exactly alike, with Alexandra's dark blonde hair and olive skin, except Leon has his father's dark blue eyes and Aurelia has very light, almost violet eyes. Nerissa loves her new baby sister and brother, and loves taking care of them both. As expected, Antonius disliked the twins getting attention from his mother, but other than that didn't seem too opposed to them.
Due to Alexandra's arrogance, she doesn't feel that half-breeds should get full rights and wishes Romolo Magro would just forget about it so things can go back to normal. However, she has learned to keep her opinions to herself, not wanting to risk her newly formed friendship with her sisters-in-law. Alexandra decided she's just going remain publicly impartial like her husband, and worry about herself and her family from now on.
