Thanks for the response.Your right, it isn't a natural nickname, but really most people called Stephanie naturally get there name shortened to Steph, and not anything else. And I despise Steph, it's the reason why I went back to Stevie in the first place. Plus I think most people would agree that in this day and age Fannie is a thousand times worse than Effie.I also agree with your last statement, both names are cool and Stephanie, under normal circumstances doesn't need to be shortened. However, my last name happens to be longer than Stephanie, so I think you could understand my reasonings behind wanting a different, shorter nickname.
