Oh yes, Xanthippe was Socrates's ill-tempered "blonde horse" of a woman.
For some reason that escapes me, Greek words starting with an X are pronounced as if they started with a Z in the Anglo Saxon world and its offshoots. I just cant Xerox corporation is known as Zerox!
A xiphophagus is not a ziphophagus and a xylophonist is not a zylophonist for crying out loud, a bloody xenophobe is not a zenophobe! In retaliation, I will start calling X chromosomes Z chromosomes hereafter!
