Hello!
When I was in spanish class in school my name was always
Luisa. The teacher suggested it in 4th grade and I always just used it after. I always liked the name but like the spelling
Louisa better. I spose it'll always be linked to
Louisa May Alcott...Little Women wasn't my favorite book but I didn't hate it lol. Anyway, I've always liked the name, been a fave for a long time, and was wondering what people think of it. Too dated? I like that it's unusual without being popular. Plus I think the nick name
Louie is cute, and do you think the nick name Lousie/Lusie/Lucy is too much of a stretch cause I've always liked that name too! lol The only other concern I had is that my name is
Laura so would
Laura and
Louisa be too matchy?
Combos I like are: (heads up, I like mn that honor friends/fam)
Louisa Jennifer (for my mom!)
Louisa Erin (for a friend)
Louisa Emily (for my sister)
Louisa Emilia (another version)
Louisa Juliet Louisa ElizabethLouisa Autumn Louisa Rosalie
any others?
on another note...I just realized this is my flowery name choice, I also like
Amelia,
Magnolia,
Daniella,
Sofia,
Noelle,
Anna but it's funny cause I also like harsher names like
Taylor,
Schuyler,
Phoebe,
Matilda,
Heidi,
Phillipa,
Teagan, etc. Anyone else find the vary between these two or are people's faves stay more to one side?
anyway, any thoughts would be helplful! thanks!
~
Laura
