[Opinions] is this sib/twinset too cutesy?
Florence Amelia and Franklin AlbertI made them for a story but then realized afterwards that they both have the same initials (I designed them to be honouring within the story framework). After I realized they had identical-initial names, I thought maybe I should make them twins, but I'm not sure if that would be too gag-inducing. Should they be twins or not?thanks for your thoughts!

either way it's a nice sib set!

In real life I would think it tacky, but in real life people are tacky-- so why not in the story too? They are adorable together, so I think it's a good way to get away with doing something like naming twins matchy names.

Better as sibs. Close and twin-like sibs! but not twins, I think. Nice names, though.

I love these names!! At first glance, not too cutesy. Franklin Albert is SO handsome and Florence Amelia is "homey" and "comforting." Then, after taking it all in and assessing their relationship, a little on the cutesy side. This cute sib-set is one I can go for, though.

Thanks! I'm thinking I'll use them and see how it goes. If I can't stop rolling my eyes at myself as I write, I'll know it's no good ;)I was quite impressed with them myself too! I was so pleased with how the randomly-chosen names I had picked for their family members could come together so prettily.

Oh. I am not averse to two twins having the same initial. I really don't like "themey" but sharing an initial is safe.

Not cutesy, but maybe slightly repetitive. As to whether it's gag-inducing, would their parents be the types to give twins similar-sounfing names?I do like the individual combos, though.

Nah, the parents aren't the cutesy type, just the honouring type, and it just sort of worked out to be like that. Although, it is for a story for pre-teens, so maybe the cutesy factor would go over well with such young readers?

Probably better if they weren't twins.
Making them twins seems too cutesy to me.(Btw, love Florence!)

It certainly does drive up the cutesy factor quite a bit more than if they were non-twins. thanks! I like Florence too :)

I don't think it's too cutesy. They are very different names with different sounds, the only similarities are the length and initials. I think it would be super cute as twins.
