HI , I saw that there is an archived query about the origin of the name Derith. My name is Derith . My parents were Welsh and told me it means ' dorothy ' in Welsh and that the meaning of this is ' gift of god ' .I understand that there was another meaning " of oak ' but this meaning does not make sense to me .
