About Vijessna, I have no idea.
I assume it's a variant and to make s sound like s in German they doubled it (otherwise it would be a z). It could also be connected to the Croatian word 'vijesnik' (bringer of news) or 'vijest' (news). I've never heard of the name Vijesna or Vjesna in Croatia though. ETA: I looked her up and her name is Vijesna, with one s.
