Brigid, an Anglicized form of the name, I would pronounce as it looks. Rhymes with "frigid." Very similar to Bridget.
Brighid, on the other hand, I would pronounce as "breed." (The "h" in Celtic words often silences the preceding consonant.)
I don't know where BtN got that "bried" pronunciation. I've checked this with my Irish cousin who speaks Gaelic, so I feel pretty confident on this. Perhaps BtN got the pronunciaiton confused with Bridie, a common nn in Ireland for Bridget/Brigid.
