Well, they say Hitler was a self-hating Jew in denial.
Perhaps the daughter was named after the Shoah as a sort of memorial to relatives who died in it. I dunno. No one in my own family has ever borne that name.
But then, no one in my family was ever named "Nanaea " before, either. ;)
