Help[Opinions] Emilia ..?
What do you think about the name Emilia?
I really don't care for Emily, but I think I do like the sound and look of Emilia. It doesn't even seem to have the same etymological roots as Emily (does it?).
1.) Do you think people will want to call her Emily as a nickname? What other nicknames might be derived? I don't think I mind Emmy as much, because it's the name one of my best friends goes by. Emma is kind of sweet, too, though I know it's a superpopular given name now.
2.) Do you think it would get confused with Amelia?
3.) Do you think Emilia, Emmy or Emma sound too close to the name Amy?
4.) Do you like Mariah and Emilia as sister names?
