[Games] Re: The Game of Life!
Good thing we have dice everywhere in my house. :) If I was at school, I'd be screwed.1. Your car: A red convertible called Charlie2. Your career: Police officer3. Your partner's career: Doctor--pediatrician3. Your house: Luxury city apartment in NYC4. Your Kids: 3Now, for each birth repeat these 4 questionsBaby one: Girl, dark brown hair, brown eyes, academic.
Baby two: Twins, dark brown hair, golden brown eyes, charasmatic.
Baby three: Twins (!), dark brown hair (!), hazel eyes, academic. Our Life Story:My name's Amy Rae Delafield, and I live in a spacious apartment in New York City with my husband, Will Brian Delafield, and our five kids. I am a police officer with the NYPD (no, it's not just like it looks in NYPD Blue--my job's a bit more office-centered!), and Will is a pediatrician. In honour of a big promotion he just got, we've bought a red convertible Sunbeam named Charlie; it's just like the one my dad had when I was little. :) We have been doubly blessed in this family, with two sets of twins to go along with our eldest daughter, Thursday Brianne Delafield. Thursday is fourteen years old and looks very much like her dad: straight, dark brown hair (in a cute little bob), a snub nose, and dark brown eyes. She wears cat-eye glasses like mine and loves to shop in the rattiest vintage shops I've ever seen! Thursday's very dedicated to her schoolwork and hopes to attend Columbia University after graduating--following in the footsteps of her Aunt Sara. Our first set of twins are identical girls named Desdemona Rae and Juniper Jean; we call them Demi and Joon. They're eleven and could beat out the Weasley twins as far as practical jokes go! Currently, they're very insistently "different" from each other; Demi wears her dark hair short like a curly version of Thursday's, while Joon is trying in vain to grow her hair out. They both are constantly smiling and are much more social than I ever was! Joon's currently a bit preoccupied with boys--Demi eschews them in favour of a good cartoon on the TV, and I can't say I blame her. Eleven year old boys are pains.I haven't had any eleven year old boys yet, but I will soon. Our second set of twins is a set of fraternal boys, named James Henry Indigo and Horatio Franz. Iggy and Ray (as we call them) are currently eight going on sixteen. They so desperately want to be cool like Thursday's friend, Laurence (who looks like a male Annie Hall--sort of like Duckie from Pretty in Pink without the ducktail), and they emulate him when they're not busy with books and video games. Both have dark eyes and hair--they're much like male versions of Thursday, but with more of my features than Will's. Iggy and Ray both really enjoy school, which is good. I'm bad enough with sons, having grown up in a house full of women; having sons who also hate school would be too much for me!Array

Get into the car
We'll be the passenger
We'll ride through the city tonight
See the city's ripped insides
We'll see the bright and hollow sky
We'll see the stars that shine so bright
The sky was made for us tonight

I've made dolls of them, too.Image hosted by Photobucket.comHere's Thursday, wearing one of her trademark outfits. ;) She's looking remarkably cheerful.Image hosted by Photobucket.comAs you might have guessed, Demi likes cats a lot. She's just gotten her hair cut here.Image hosted by Photobucket.comJoon refuses to cut her hair, but thus far, it hasn't grown out too much. Poor thing doesn't like that aspect of curly hair--but neither did I when I was her age.Image hosted by Photobucket.comThis is Iggy, wearing a t-shirt his Aunt Sara gave him for his birthday. Ig seems like he might end up like her--which is a compliment, don't worry!Image hosted by Photobucket.comRay doesn't like being serious--I don't think I've gotten a snapshot of him without him pulling a face since he was a baby! He's wearing the Italian shirt his grandma got him on her trip to the Vatican City. It was blessed by the Pope. :DThose're the kids!Array
