For some time, I've liked the idea of using
Raphaela. I love the association with St.
Raphael and the meaning of the name. The spelling I like is
Raffaella because I use it as part of a strongly Italian sibset, but most people tell me that they think that this spelling is too much.
I don't think that
Raphaela is too masculine, but people are always say to me "I like it, but I prefer
Raphael," which gets a bit annoying after the fifth time.
I'm not sure if this will be of any help to you or not, but with my very Italian
Raffaella, I would use
Giustina,
Berenice or
Antonia as a middle name.
Raphaela Georgine is nice.
