[Games] Welcome Misaki and Aria!
in reply to a message by Julia
You got sisters Misaki (3) and Aria (1), from Nagasaki, Japan. Misaki is physically/emotionally healthy, but Aria suffers from a heart condition (atrial septal defect) which is mild. She will need further testing as she ages to determine if the problem requires surgery to fix or if she can thrive the way she is. Misaki has been raised speaking Japanese, but as she is young, she will be able to learn English quickly. She likes playing with dolls, being in the kitchen while cooking is going on, and being held. Aria is too young to have defined interests yet, but she seems to love it when Misaki plays with her. The girls came to you because their father died of cancer and their mother was unable to raise them alone.

Thank you so much for our daughters! Misaki is now 4 and Aria is 2.
Misaki is doing very well. Marina took one look at her and nicknamed her Kia, which has stuck. She loves to play with Marina's dolls, and we've started letting her help us cook sometimes. For her next birthday we're getting her a play kitchen. Kia is learning English very quickly and loves to talk.
So far Aria's heart defect has not needed surgery. Her doctors are impressed by how well she is doing. She likes to run and play, and has also discovered a love for coloring. She still enjoys when her big sisters play with her.
Thanks so much for bringing these wonderful girls into our family!
