Angie and Vera met in college. They did not have many classes together, as Angie was a math major while Vera was majoring in visual arts. Instead, they got to know each other through the drama club; Vera acted in several productions, while Angie did tech.
They started dating the summer before their senior year and moved into an apartment together at the start of the school year. Their relationship progressed quickly, and two months after graduation, they had a small commitment ceremony with just a few friends and family members in attendance. Vera wanted an outdoor ceremony, so they decided to have it at Angie's grandparents' farm. Angie wore a knee-length black silk skirt with a white jacket, and Vera wore a strapless, knee-length black dress. Vera's youngest sister was the flower girl.
Angie is currently working as a technician for a computer supply/repair shop, while Vera teaches art and does freelance work in her spare time. They are both eager to have children, and are finally financially stable enough that it is a real possibility. They know that their family will not be traditional, but this does not bother them as they both come from nontraditional families themselves; Angie is a twin, and she and her brother were raised by their grandmother, while Vera has eleven siblings-- four biological, and seven adopted-- ranging in age from eight to thirty.
They have just bought their first house, a small ranch-style house with a shed that Vera plans to convert into an art studio, but if Vera gets her way they will have to upgrade in a few years to make room for their kids!
